A 49-year-old Helena woman is facing her sixth driving under the influence charge.

Lucinda Renee Leon was arrested Saturday after officers responded to a report of a vehicle stuck in a parking lot in the area of North Park and Bishop Carroll.

Officers allege that Leon displayed diminished motor skills and slurred speech, and that her eyes were bloodshot. The arresting officer also alleges her vehicle smelled of alcohol.

Leon was ordered to exit the vehicle but refused to perform field sobriety tests or provide a breath sample, according to court documents.

“The defendant refused to cooperate with the tests and stated she was drunk,” court documents state.

Leon has five prior convictions for DUI. DUIs become felonies in Montana on the fourth and subsequent offense.
