  • At 9:25 a.m. a school resource officer responded to the 1300 block of Billings for a report of minor in possession of tobacco. The Juvenile was located and cited for underage possession of tobacco. He was referred to Municipal Court.

  • At 9:26 a.m. a school resource officer responded to the 1300 block of Billings Avenue for a report of a disorderly male. The juvenile male was located and cited for disorderly conduct. He was referred to juvenile probation.

  • At 9:51 a.m. an officer responded to the 800 block of Abbey for a request to have a female trespassed from the property. The 30-year-old Helena woman was located advised of the trespass notice. While speaking with her, it was discovered she had two active warrants for her arrest. She was arrested and booked into the LCSO jail.

  • At 10:46 a.m. an officer responded to the 1700 block of Cedar for a report of a cold shoplift from a business. The case is active.

  • At 11:53 a.m. a school resource officer responded to the 1300 block of Billings for a report of a juvenile male in possession of tobacco. The male was located and cited for underage possession of tobacco. He was referred to Municipal Court.

  • At 1:02 p.m. an officer responded to the 2900 block of Sanders for a report of a cold shoplift. The case is active.

  • At 1:27 p.m. an officer responded to the 500 block of Monroe for a report of criminal mischief to a vehicle. It was reported a window was broken out.

  • At 1:31 p.m. a school resource officer responded to the 1300 block of Billings Avenue for a report of a disorderly male. The juvenile male was located and cited for disorderly conduct. He was referred to juvenile probation.

  • At 3:50 p.m. an officer responded to the300 block of Euclid for a report of a theft of a purse. The case is active.
  • At 3:53 p.m. an officer responded to the 3500 block of Ptarmigan for a report of a shoplift that had occurred. The case is active.

  • At 3:57 p.m. an officer responded to the 900 block of Tara Court for a report of a theft of a wallet. The case is active.

  • At 4:24 p.m. an officer responded to the 800 block of Great Northern Boulevard for a report of a theft of a cellphone. The case is active.

  • At 5:17 p.m. an officer responded to the 3100 block of Montana Avenue for a report of shoplifting. The suspect was located and identified as a juvenile male. He was cited for theft and referred to juvenile probation.

  • At 6:42 p.m. an officer responded to 2900 block of Sanders for a report of a domestic situation. At the conclusion of the investigation, a 21-year-old Laurel man was cited for obstructing a police officer. He was referred to Municipal Court.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 75 inmates (71 for felonies and four for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 104 inmates at various detention facilities.
