  • At 9:13 a.m. an officer took a report of fraudulent activity that occurred in the 600 block of Euclid Ave.

  • At 9:55 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft that occurred in the 100 block of Valley Drive. The theft occurred the day prior and this case is active.

  • At 10:05 a.m. an officer took a report of a phone that was lost in the 300 block of Neill Avenue.

  • At 10:45 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft of a construction trailer that occurred in the 100 block of Chaucer Street. This case is active.

  • At 10:49 a.ma an officer took a report of a possible phone scam.

  • At 11:35 a.m. an officer took a report of a possible parenting plan violation.

  • At 12:36 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a business in the 1200 block of Euclid Avenue for a report of checks being forged at the business the night prior. This case is active.

  • At 3:51 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle that occurred in the 1600 block of Benton Avenue.

Oct. 25

  • At 1:31 a.m. an officer conducted a traffic stop in the area of Lyndale and Ewing Street. The Officer met with the driver and learned the driver had a warrant for his arrest. Investigation into the traffic stop led to the 36-year-old male driver being placed under arrest for the following charges: Justice Court warrant, driving while revoked, driving while status is habitual offender, fictious plates, possession of stolen property and possession of dangerous drugs (meth). While being booked, detention officers located a baggie with suspected meth on the male’s person. He was booked into the LCSO Jail.

  • At 7:38 a.m. an officer took a report of a theft of tools from a construction trailer that occurred in the 3200 block of Colonial Drive. This case is active.

As of Wednesday morning, the county jail held 94 inmates (85 for felonies and nine for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 123 inmates at various detention facilities.
