At 8:51 a.m. an officer took a report of a burglary that occurred in the 100 block of Broadway.
At 10:51 a.m. an officer took a report of a criminal mischief to a building in the 300 block of Jackson Street. A window was broken out in the building.
At 3:32 p.m. an officer was called to a business in the first block of West Broadway concerning a theft from the store. Investigation into the theft led to a 37-year-old woman being issued a citation for misdemeanor theft. She was referred to Helena Municipal Court.
At 4:30 p.m. an officer took a report of a cold assault that occurred in the 3100 block of North Montana Avenue. Investigation into the assault led to a 36-year-old man being placed under arrest for Felony PFMA (4th Offense). He was booked into the LCSO Jail.
At 6:28 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 1000 block of Ewing Street for a report of a domestic disturbance. The suspect left prior to the officer's arrival and the case is active.
At 11:30 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a business in the 50 block of North Last Chance Gulch for a report of a physical altercation in progress. Investigation into the matter led to a 32-year-old woman being placed under arrest for assault with a weapon. She was booked into the LCSO Jail.
At 1:20 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 100 block of South Last Chance Gulch for a report of a male verbally threatening others. Investigation into the matter led to a 32-year-old man being placed under arrest for Obstructing a Peace Officer. He was booked into the LCSO Jail.
As of Sunday morning, the county jail held 90 inmates (76 for felonies and 14 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 106 inmates at various detention facilities.
