Nov. 12

  • At 10:10 a.m. an officer took a report of a trespass to a residence in the 300 block of S. Rodney Street. There is suspect information and this case is active.
  • At 10:57 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of N. Montana Avenue for a report of a theft from a business. There is suspect information and this case is active.
  • At 1:17 p.m. an officer was dispatched to a business in the 2900 block of N. Montana Avenue for a report of damage to one of their sheds.
  • At 2:25 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 3100 block of N. Montana Avenue for a report of a theft from a business. Investigation into the theft led to a juvenile male being issued a citation for misdemeanor theft. He was referred to Juvenile Probation.
  • At 3:19 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 2000 block of N. Oakes Street for a report of a theft of service from a business. There is suspect information and this case is active.
  • At 4:45 p.m. an officer took a report of a theft from a vehicle that was parked in the 2400 block of Broadway Street. One of the items taken from the vehicle was a credit card. Officers had reports the stolen credit card was used later in the evening in Butte. This case is active.

Nov. 13

  • At 1:19 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 500 block of Logan Street for a report of a 911 open line. Investigation into the call for service led to two individuals being placed under arrest for active arrest warrants. A 39-year-old male was placed under arrest for a no-contact order violation and an active Helena Municipal Court Warrant. A-30-year-old female was also placed under arrest for an active warrant out of Broadwater County and a warrant out of Helena Municipal Court. Both of these individuals were booked into the LCSO Jail.

As of Monday morning, the county jail held 94 inmates (83 for felonies and 11 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 125 inmates at various detention facilities. In addition, 39 are PBT (Personal Breath Test) and 32 are SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet). 95 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. We also have 8 testing out of county, 1 is pre-trial, 5 are GPS (Global Positioning System bracelet), and 10 are on house arrest.
