  • At 8:46 a.m., an officer responded to the 1500 block of Boulder for a reported assault.
  • At 9:12 a.m., an officer responded and investigated a shoplifting that occurred in the 2400 block of North Montana.
  • At 12:13 p.m., an officer responded to the 400 block of East Broadway for a reported theft of delivered packages.
  • At 12:51 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Logan for a reported assault with a knife.
  • At 1:18 p.m., an officer investigated a theft of a white 1995 Mitsubishi MTX bearing MT license 5-22125A.
  • At 2:50 p.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Logan for a reported assault with a knife. At the conclusion of this incident a 60-year-old female from Helena was arrested for assault with a weapon and obstructing a police officer.
  • At 3:01 p.m., an officer responded to the 100 block of North Rodney for a report of an individual being in possession of drug paraphernalia. At the conclusion of the investigation a 20-year-old male from East Helena was cited for possession of drug paraphernalia.
  • At 3:47 p.m., an officer investigated a criminal mischief to a vehicle that occurred in the 1100 block of Sixth Avenue.
  • At 7:49 p.m., an officer investigated an assault that occurred in the 500 block of North Last Chance Gulch.

Dec. 1

  • At 12:20 a.m., officers responded to the 100 block of South Davis for a reported criminal mischief to several fences.
  • At 1:43 a.m., officers responded to the 1100 block of North Roberts for a report of a family disturbance. At the conclusion of the incident a 17-year-old male and a 18-year-old male both from Helena were cited for underage possession of alcohol.
  • At 5:35 a.m., officers responded to the 500 block of Logan for a reported trespassing. At the conclusion of the incident a 22-year-old female from Helena was arrested for felony possession of dangerous drugs, meth, and a warrant.

As of Friday morning, the county jail held 81 inmates (71 for felonies and 10 for misdemeanors). In total, the county has 105 inmates at various detention facilities. In addition, 33 are PBT (Personal Breath Test) and 29 are SCRAM (Secure Continuous Remote Alcohol Monitor bracelet). 91 clients are serviced by the 24/7 sobriety program. We also have 6 testing out of county, 1 is pre-trial, 7 are GPS (Global Positioning System bracelet), and 15 are on house arrest.
