A Helena man is accused of multiple counts of strangulation of a partner or family member and assault of a partner or family member.
Elijah McDonald-Bock, 21, was arrested on Sunday afternoon when an officer was called to an altercation between him and his partner.
The partner said she had been in a physical altercation with Brock, who punched her in the arm, leg and face and strangled her until she could not breathe, according to court documents. The responding officer noted visible injuries to the partner’s neck, according to the affidavit.
Bock had pending charges for partner or family member assault, as well as two outstanding warrants.
