A Helena man is charged with a felony count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs after police responded to a call about a disorderly male early Sunday morning.
Brendan Scott Moe, 30, was “believed to be going through a crisis” and placed in protective custody for his own well-being, according to court documents.
At the hospital, Moe gave a police officer a baggie containing a white, crystalline substance that he said was in his possession, according to the court affidavit. The affidavit states that the officer field tested the substance and found it to be meth.
Moe was evaluated and released by St. Peter’s Hospital and arrested on suspicion of possession of dangerous drugs.
