A Helena man arrested on a warrant Wednesday was charged with felony possession of methamphetamine according to a court complaint.
Gary Richard Gray, 48, was contacted by deputies and then arrested on a valid warrant. According to court documents, during the search deputies allegedly located a small bag of methamphetamine, a container with a white powdery substance and syringes.
According to court documents, Gray told deputies that the baggie and container had "meth" in them and that he used a clear plastic tube found on him to snort the drug.
The court affidavit stated a deputy conducted a field test on the substances in the small bag and container, both of which tested positive for meth.
Gray is being charged with a felony count of criminal possession of dangerous drugs and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the court complaint.
