A Helena man is accused of bail jumping for missing a hearing in late August.
Justin Mark Mooney, 34, was charged with felony bail jumping and taken into custody Thursday.
Mooney was convicted of felony burglary in 2015 for stealing shed antlers from a barn. During sentencing Mooney told the court “this is a brown stain on my life … I want to get rid of it.”
District Judge James Reynolds then told Mooney “the way you can make a brown mark a black mark is to not comply with this” sentence.
Mooney failed to appear at a hearing for the prosecution’s motion to revoke his probation, according to court documents. A warrant was then issued for his arrest.
