This month's Last Chance Gulch Session focuses on two musical staples of Helena's music scene: Kate Plummer and David Casey. Plummer, who hails from Sydney, Australia, has three CDs on iTunes and is known for making musical appearances, both solo and in collaboration, all over Helena. David Casey and his wife Deidra recently released "Imagine It's Christmas," an album of Christmas tunes they have shared with their family for years. In the session, the duo plays a couple of Plummer's tracks entitled "Manitou Crossing" and "Wait," both from her 2007 album "Home in the Crossing." The duo is two-thirds of the founding team behind the new concert series The Sleepy Rooster Sessions, in which local singer-songwriters play their music for a captive audience in the downtown shop. Fittingly, we decided to film this month's Last Chance Gulch Session in the shop. Log onto Helenair.com to check out Kate and David performing.
