The first Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions took place in 1893. This historic event has taken place in Chicago, Cape Town, South Africa, Barcelona, Spain, Melbourne, Australia -- and now once again on American soil, in Salt Lake City, Utah, at the Salt Palace Convention Center.
The Council for a Parliament of the World's Religions was created to cultivate harmony among the world's religious and spiritual communities, and foster their engagement with the world and its guiding institutions to achieve a just, peaceful, and sustainable world.
It is the oldest, the largest, and the most inclusive gathering of people of all faiths and traditions.
At this year's event on Oct. 15-19, there will be Nobel Laureates, experts, religious leaders, master trainers and activists at the Parliament who will share their wisdom and expertise in panels, workshops, and plenaries, as well as world-class religious music, films, exhibits and performances.
The Rev. Jean Sweet and members of the Helena Center of Creative Living (a Religious Science Church and more) will be participating in the Parliament. If you are interested in attending at a discounted rate, please contact the Rev. Sweet at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 442-0224.
