Thanksgiving eve service at Helena Alliance
Everyone is invited on Wednesday, Nov 22, at 6 p.m. to Helena Alliance Church, 1400 Stuart St., for a time of thanksgiving. This will be a time for children and adults alike to share what they are thankful for. Send a picture of something you are thankful for or bring an item that reminds you of what you are thankful for. You can email your photo to be projected to firstname.lastname@example.org.
There will also be scriptures and music. Roger Lonnquist, a familiar voice from Christian radio will be part of the worship team. For more information, call 442-1301.
Thanksgiving dinner at First Presbyterian
Helena’s First Presbyterian Church, 535 Ewing St., will host a Thanksgiving dinner on Thursday, Nov. 23, at 1 p.m., featuring turkey and all the trimmings. The public is invited to this yearly event. The dinner is free.
'Believe' study offered at First Baptist
First Baptist Church of Montana, 201 8th Ave., has started a 30-week study entitled “Believe.” During this study you will learn how the story of the Bible helps us think, act, and become more like Jesus. Know what you believe and why it matters.
Everyone is invited. The gatherings happen each Sunday morning at 9 a.m. for adults and 10:45 a.m. for children (during the morning service). In addition, separate groups meet on Wednesday nights at 6:30 p.m. A study guide/workbook is available (for a nominal fee; but provided if your finances prohibit); along with an accompanying companion book.
