Jake Eveland and Erin Ratcliff were married on a mountaintop above Marysville on June 17, 2017. The bride and groom were attended by her sisters Anita and Jeana, his brother Wes, and several close friends. Lucy served as dog of honor.
The newlyweds and their guests enjoyed an evening of food and fellowship at the historic Marysville General Store & Cotton Club following the ceremony.
Jake is the son of Ben and Jane Eveland of Kasilof, Alaska. Erin is the daughter of Russ and Kendall Ratcliff and granddaughter of Marvin and Dorothy Ratcliff, all of Helena.
Jake is a 2010 graduate of the University of South Dakota and teaches social studies at Skyview Middle School in Soldotna, Alaska. Erin is a 2009 graduate of Capital High School and a 2013 graduate of Montana State University. She teaches fifth grade at Soldotna Elementary School.
A honeymoon trip to New Zealand is planned for this winter. Jake and Erin and wonder dog Lucy reside in Sterling, Alaska.
