On June 10, 1967, Bill and Becky Eiker were married at the Woodside Church in Flint, Michigan. Bill Eiker from Wyandotte, Michigan, and Becky Raveling from Valley City, North Dakota, met while both were teaching in Flint Michigan in 1964. After courting for three years they were united in wedlock on June 10, 1967.
They honeymooned in Europe their first summer and in the Rocky Mountains their second summer of marriage. While attending graduate school at the University of South Carolina in 1968-1969 they were offered teaching contracts in Helena, Montana. Becky and Bill fell in love with Helena and Montana and celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary at the Fox Ridge Golf Course and Supper Club restaurant on June 10, 2017, with many of their wonderful Montana friends. Becky taught art at CR Anderson and Capital High before becoming a full time artist. Bill taught mathematics at Helena High and was a landlord. Life is good.
