Take a sunny day on the slopes and combine it with some precision throwing of the folf disks and you get snolf.
Great Divide Ski Area near Helena offered up a nine-hole snolf course Saturday, taking ski-clad disc throwers through some challenging holes in search of the lowest score. It is the first time the area has tried a snolf course, said Great Divide owner Kevin Taylor, but it appeared popular with groups up for a little different experience on the mountain. With a few small patches of grass starting to poke through the snow, Taylor is a bit unsure how long Great Divide will stay open but weather permitting, he hopes to keep the lifts running until the middle of April.
