Celebrate autumn in Downtown Helena with the Kids FallFest 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, in Pioneer Park. 

This family-oriented event will bring you dance performances, group games, juggling clinics and more.

Events include:

Downtown Helena, Inc.: Needle-in-the-haystack prize hunt with prizes donated by Downtown Helena businesses; Archie Bray Foundation Clay Business: Kids clay table; Van’s Thriftway: Pumpkin patch; Dave & Sheree Vainio: Family games, music and comedy at 10 a.m.; Lasso the Moon: Celebrate the 17th anniversary of Lasso the Moon with a hero parade starting at Lasso the Moon at 10:30 a.m. and ending at the Kids FallFest in Pioneer Park; dress up as your favorite hero and check out the body glitter booth at Kids FallFest.

Image Dancing: Dance performance at 11 a.m. and informational booth; Mike Johnson: Juggling performance at 11:30 a.m. and a free juggling clinic; Big Sky Dance Works: Dance performance at 12:30 p.m. and informational booth; Montana Parent Magazine: Rody bouncers, activity books, and glow sticks; The Painted Pot: Paint Halloween and fall-themed ceramics; Montana Conservation Corps: Experience backcountry cooking and learn how to make trail brownies and doughnuts.

Face Bling: Face painting and glitter art; The Parrot Confectionery: Caramel apples and caramel corn for sale; Lewis & Clark Library: Library card sign-up and information table on the new bookmobile, coming to Helena this November; Prickly Pear Land Trust: Bean bag toss game, prizes, and handouts; Narrate Church: Rock climbing wall.; Helena Citizens Council: Informational booth, handout magnets and visiting.

Montana Shakespeare Company: Sword play; Helena Job’s Daughter’s: Hair tinsel and paper crown decorating; HealthSource Chiropractic & Progressive Rehab: Coloring contest and free massage for adults; Zhashki Henna: Temporary body art with henna and glitter; Helena’s Playable Playground: Stuffed animal adoption; all proceeds go toward building a playground in Helena for all ages and abilities.

One on One Learning: Ping-pong ball toss; Montana Book & Toy Company: Hula hoops, Ogodisk and Kikbo to play with; Taco del Sol: Sugar skull painting in preparation for Day of the Dead on Nov. 2.
